During the evening of June 17, 1999 the DCARA ran tests on receiving the ATV signal from Dallas. During this test they worked the ATV net on voice and communicated with several Hams on the Net that night. The members performing the test were Jim Dye N5JZ, Don Mathis KB5YAM, Gerald Marchant WB5NZV, Gary McGar KD5AKQ. Some also purchased equipment for use from their QTH's for further tests. Gary KD5AKQ reports that he is receiving a good signal from the 58 foot level on his tower at home.
